Parking Permits

Village Numbered Lots:
Located near the Snowmass Village Mall and ski slopes, the numbered lots of Snowmass Village are typically in high demand.
Winter Season:
Thanksgiving - Snowmass Mountain Closing Day
Parking in any numbered lot for a long period of time between 7:00 am - 1:00 pm requires a parking permit 7 days a week and holidays. The different types of permits offered are broken down below.
Lots 6 and Upper Lot 5 offer 90-minute parking for shopping and dining in Snowmass Mall. One visit per Day.
Permit Parking Zones:
Premium:
Premium parking permits are for hotel guests, residents, gold members, and senior. Premium Permits are Valid in Lots 1-5 and 8-13
Limited:
Limited parking permits are for local employees. Limited Permits are Valid in Lots 1-3 and 10-13
Restricted:
Restricted permits are for employees and residents of Snowmass Village. Restricted Permits are Valid in Lots 10-13

The following permits are offered.
Resident Permits
Resident permits for the winter of 2025/2026 will go on sale in October of 2025.
To obtain a resident parking permit visit the Transportation Department offices at:

PROOF OF RESIDENCY AND VEHICLE REGISTRATION MUST BE VERIFIED ANNUALLY. You must bring appropriate documents to purchase a permit. If ownership of your residency is held in the name of an entity (LLC, partnership, or trust) or was recently acquired, you must submit a written explanation with supporting documentation, such as a deed or trust agreement.

- 2nd Vehicle - $120
- 3rd Vehicle - $220
Employee Permits
Employers in Snowmass Village may be eligible for lot-specific parking permits to issue to employees. Please contact the Transportation Office to see if your business qualifies.
- Employee Access - $70
Guest Permits
Visitors staying in Snowmass Village can purchase a guest permit from their hotel, lodge, residence owner, or property manager. Guests parking is permitted in all Premium Lots.
Senior/Gold Permits
Senior and gold permits are available to anyone from the public. Senior permits are restricted to those 70 years of age and older. Senior/Gold Permits are restricted to 100 total permits. To apply for the lottery or pay for a Senior/Gold permit won through the lottery go to the parking office at:
