Helping You Get Around Town
The Snowmass Village Transportation Department is committed to complying with the Americans with Disabilities Act regulations. Our coaches are lift equipped and our operators are trained in their use. If you have questions about accessibility, please call 970-923-2543.

Wheelchair Users
Our coach operators have been trained to help you board. It is generally preferable for passengers in wheelchairs to enter and exit the coach with the rear wheels first. After boarding you will be asked to transfer to a seat, if possible, or whether you require a tie-down. Please lock the wheelchair’s brakes.

Service Animals
The Town of Snowmass Transportation Department welcomes your pet regardless of whether it is a service animal. All animals must be leashed and kept on the floor and out of the aisles as much as possible, and must be under the control of their owners at all times.

Para Transit Services
ADA Para Transit service is available for those who qualify or have been certified as Para Transit eligible by another transit agency. For an overview of who Para Transit service is for, please see the Easter Seals Project Action brochure.

The Town provides Para Transit service to those who qualify. Service is provided by shuttle and/or taxi and is by reservation only.

How to Apply/Reserve Para Transit Service
  • Review and complete our Para Transit Service Application and return to the Transportation Department during business hours.
  • Questions? Call our office during business hours at 970-923-2543. 
  • Please reserve 24 hours in advance.
